"I started at South Nassau as a Bed and Bath employee where I learned basic hands on patient care. I took the In house training to become a Patient Care Tech and transfered to work in the ICU. During this time I was attending Nursing School. I participated in the hospitals Student Nurse Internship and after I graduated Nursing school I was given the opportunity to work as a new grad RN in critical care. The best thing about my experience was that I gradually worked through many areas to bring me to where I am today -an RN in the critical care setting. South Nassau provided me with support as a student and growth as an RN. I had many good role models and mentors to help me throughout my journey. I am content, South Nassau is like a family to me."
